What is a cost for a custom website design?

The cost of the website depends on the amount of features, pages, and custom artwork it has. Please contact me to request my current price sheet.

I'm a new/debut author on a very tight budget, do you have any special packages for new authors?

I do have a basic author website package for new authors, who have 3 books or less. It's $250 for an unbranded website (you need to provide your own logo or your author name can be simply typed out on the website) Hosting and  branding is not included in this price. Please contact me for a complete price sheet with a breakdown of all the features.

What is your process for designing a custom website?

I will begin by sending you a questionnaire, which will help me determine what your brand is about, what features you are looking for in a website, and any specific requirements you might have. Once I review your answers, I will give you a quote for the project based on my current price list. Once a 50% down payment has been secured, the work on your website will commence. I will request additional information as needed. After the initial mock-up for the front page is designed, revisions will be made based on your review.

What platform do you use for your website design?

I use WordPress.org for all my custom website designs. I do not design on WordPress.com.

I already have my brand logos, can you use them?

Absolutely. I will incorporate your brand logo into your new website design.

Can you handle hosting and domain set up?

There are two options available.

1) Self service: You provide the hosting and domain, and I do the initial set up. You are responsible for maintenance.

2) Full service: I set everything up and provide all maintenance for a yearly fee. Please contact for prices.

I have a Wix website, can it be moved to WordPress?

The website itself cannot be moved, but I can design a brand new website for you and connect it to your domain name (website url) With Wix, your domain name would need to be transferred, as they do not allow external domain hook-up.

I have my own WordPress hosting, can you still design my website?

Yes. I would design the website on my test server and I will transfer it onto your hosting once you approve the design. You will be responsible for any updates to WordPress, themes and plugins as well as back-ups. I do back up your website after the initial design. If you need any maintenance done to your website (ex. update, wordpress/theme/plugin update, complete website & database back-up), my fee is $35 per update.

When should I book my project?

The sooner the better! I work on a first come first served basis.

What is your turn around time?

Each job is unique, and turn around time varies depending on the scope of the project. Custom websites typically take two weeks but may take longer if multiple revisions are requested.

What are your payment terms?

If you are having your website hosted with me: A $200 down payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is due upon completion of the project. All payments are accepted through Paypal.

If you are having your website hosted elsewhere: The balance must be paid in full before I transfer your website to your hosting. A detailed invoice will be sent to you with the breakdown of all the features on your website.

Do you have a rush fee?

In some instances, I will consider taking a rush assignment. Please contact me for availability and pricing.

How many revisions do you allow?

There are no limits on revisions during the design process, provided the design is not completely overhauled. I want you to be completely happy with your website.

Do you offer refunds?

I will make every effort to accommodate any schedule changes that arise. If you need to cancel an appointment, a refund shall be given within three weeks of the booking date minus a non-refundable $30 booking fee, provided that no work has commenced. Deposits shall be forfeited for any cancellations made within three weeks of the scheduled appointment.

What if I decide to add extra features in the middle of the project or later down the line?

No problem! I will send you an updated balance for any additional features. You can add any additional pages/features at a later date for an additional charge based on the current price sheet.

Do you backup the websites?

Yes I backup the database along with the website files and store them indefinitely on my backup server.

Will you be able to update my website when I have a new book release?

Absolutely. There is a one time $35 maintenance fee that includes any updates to existing pages.

I want to have a store on my website, can you teach me how to use it? I have a blog on my website, can you teach me how to post?

I provide any WordPress coaching at an hourly rate of $30 with a minimum of half an hour billed.
